A little Lush haul | Ft Valentines collection goodies

If you're going shopping on Oxford Street it's just compulsory to visit the most majestic Lush store ever. The employees at Lush are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and are mostly covered in glitter - do you even work at Lush if you're not covered in glitter? Anyway, the Valentine's Day collection is so cute and has one of my fav products ever - the Unicorn Horn - and I couldn't help but pick up a few bits as well because it all smells incredible.

Prince Charming Shower Cream | £5.50/100g

With sweet marshmallow root and vanilla pod infusion, this shower gel smells so beautiful and sweet, but not sickly sweet (even though I love that anyway) but it's a very fresh sweet because of the pomegranate juice and grapefruit oil. I absolutely love this and it's perfect for coming into Spring (although I'll probably have to stock up as it's limited edition argh). I made the same mistake by not stocking up on Snow Fairy so looks like I'm waiting for the Christmas period again.

Lemon Flutter Cuticle Butter | £6.95/50g

This is a super-thick lemon scented cuticle butter. It's a beautifully scented rich, dense, cream butter to use on your cuticles (which are kinda the bits that don't get enough love). It's quite oily and leaves a lot of residue if you don't leave it to soak in so I'd recommend using it at night before you go to bed.

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar | £4.25

This is probably one of my fav Lush products to date. I love the smell of lavender and this is just so beautiful and calming - it's also covered in pretty silver glitter. It turns pink or lilac depending on which sections you use and creates loads of lovely bubbles - cause duh it's a bubble bar. I think one of the best parts about bubble bars is unlike bath bombs you can reuse them because you don't have to use the whole thing each time - you can use as much or as little as you like (and I intend to keep holding onto these ones for as long as possible). I mean this is just the majestic magical product ever. Yaaaassss to Unicorns!

I literally love anything to do with Lush and I love the limited edition collections and I can't wait for the cute Easter collection to come back out - because that also means that lots of chocolate is on the cards. I don't like using up limited edition products because I get so emotionally attached - I know I'm so sad. So I'm still holding onto the sparkly pumpkin, magic wand and a little Snow Fairy.

Charlotte Tilbury Valentine lipstick | Valentine's Day lipstick edit

It's February which means two things: Valentine's Day and more importantly.. pancakes. However, as much as I would like to dedicate a whole blog post on pancakes, my pancake skills are nothing short of abysmal. So anyway, back to makeup. I love getting dressed up, and wearing a pink lipstick, so even if you don't have someone to spend it with, you go girl and get your glam on and show everyone what they're missing *tosses hair. But I know what you're thinking, Valentine looks really similar to some of the other CTilbury lipsticks, so this post also has swatches comparing them together even though all of these lipsticks are perfect pics for Valentine's Day.

In my opinion Valentine is a combination of Kim KW and Liv It Up. It's in the middle of the two shades, Kim KW being a beautiful peachy nude and Liv It Up a blush pink. It's described as a petal-rose pink and it's a K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula which is similar Mac's Cremesheen. I adore this formula because it doesn't dry out my lips like matte ones do. Even though they're creamy they're surprisingly long lasting. I mean this just goes without saying and it's perfect for Valentine's Day or any other day in fact as I'm obsessed with this colour - it's so wearable for any occasion as it's a my-lips-but-better type pink. Pillow Talk was also released as a lipstick (finally) but even though I love the lip liner I just think it's too dark for me all over as I can't seem to pull off darker lips - le cry.

Top to bottom: Pillow Talk, Kim KW, Valentine, Liv It Up & Champagne Diamonds

As you can see, Valentine is almost a mixture of Kim KW and Liv It Up and it's just beautiful. I also wanted to include one of Charlotte's Colour Chameleon eyeshadow sticks in Champagne Diamonds in the swatches as it's just beautiful and looks so nice paired with Valentine - I am obsessed with this combination right now. It's a stunning soft champagne gold with reflective specs of majesticness and I'm just in love, I just wanna put it all over my face.

Of course, if you're thinking of treating yourself this Valentine's Day (or any day for that matter)  Charlotte Tilbury products are the way to go. These lipsticks are the perfect pink shades for Valentine's Day and as you can see my collection is coming along and to be honest I just want to buy everything and all her lipsticks.

Exploring the city of London

On Wednesday I took a little trip into London and finally saw Wicked, which I've been wanting to see for forever as I love the soundtrack to pieces and perform all the songs extremely well in the kitchen, and oh boy did it live up to expectations. Obviously I had to go shopping while I was up there and documented the day with my baby, a.k.a. my Olympus PEN E-PL7 so, this is a warning that this post is quite photo heavy.

Obviously we had to stop off in the Lush store on Oxford Street (expect a little Lush haul post soon) and yano on a side note, the staff in Lush are some of the nicest people you will ever encounter.

I bought this incredibly soft black jumper from Zara - the knitwear and outerwear is just the best and I'm in love with this suede effect brown jacket and I'm just gonna have to wait for payday to splurge on it.

I cannot express how magical Wicked is and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to go and see it asap and if you have seen it, no harm in seeing it again - hehe (I'm currently writing this post and listening to the soundtrack, it's very inspirational). P.s. the flowers outside Liberty are so beautiful and have made me so excited for warmer weather and lighter days.
