Recent Beauty Buys | Anastasia Beverly Hills, Charlotte Tilbury & Becca Cosmetics

It wasn't long ago that I did one of these - oops. I just shouldn't be allowed near shops or wifi.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Modern Renaissance palette - £41
This is probably the most beautiful palette I have ever seen in my entire life. Even though I own a tonne of eyeshadow palettes I don't have anything like this. The colours are so warm and beautiful I just can't wait to play around with this!

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips | Kim K.W. & Liv It Up - £23
Obviously when the Hot Lips collection was launched I wanted all the shades. I had to narrow it down of course and went for these two. They're absolutely beautiful like all Charlotte Tilbury products and now I'm lusting after Kidman's Kiss.

Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfecter | Champagne Pop - £32
I mean I wasn't actually planning on buying this for a while, but the opportunity presented itself and could I resist? Of course not! I'm so glad I bought this though, the pigmentation and colour is insane!

Barry M Boots Exclusive Limited Edition Nail Paint | Golden Sands - £3.99
Cheapest of the bunch, who am I to resist a Barry M nail polish. To be honest, I'd say Barry M nail paints are the best on the high street market. This colour is perfect for summer and has a lovely sparkly sheen to it.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar | Frozen Quartz

If you've heard about By Terry you've probably heard about the Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows. The most raved about include Misty Rock, a beautiful shimmery purple/pink toned shadow with silver flecks, and dun dun dun Frozen Quartz.

I swatched both on my hand and was completely torn between the two. As it's 'summer' time I decided I would go for Frozen Quartz, a warm pink toned shadow with silver flecks, as it's lighter. I think what impressed me the most was that when I went to take it off it wouldn't budge. I even used some makeup remover and it wasn't coming off.

The staying power of these shadows is insane. I think for £29 *cries* that's what you'd expect! When you apply this in the morning, it still looks just as amazing in the evening - pigmented and no smudges. What's amazing about these is just need a swipe on the lid, some liner or mascara and you're done, so quick and easy you don't even need to be a pro!

My one point of criticism is that when you apply too much (which is possible because it's so pretty), it can get quite heavy on your lid and crease up. But really you only need a thin layer which is fine because then it will last longer.

I'm currently eyeing up Misty Rock, Bronze Moon and Blond Opal. (This would be £87 which makes me extremely sad.) The price tag is extremely hefty but as these literally stay on all day and are super pigmented, it's completely worth it!

Recent Beauty Buys | Mac, Too Faced, By Terry

Do you ever just buy so much makeup that you kinda hate and love yourself at the same time? That's how I feel most of the time anyway. I have to pep talk myself like 'c'mon you don't need to spend any money this month on makeup', and then surprise surprise, BAM spent £10000 on makeup.. oops.

Anyway, that very thing happened to me last month and I thought I'd share with everyone what I (shouldn't have) bought.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar | Frozen Quartz - £29
I actually used my Space NK incentive and used £5 off so I spent £24 on this bad boy. I was going to go for Misty Rock which seems to be everyone's favourite but I thought this would be nicer for the (hopefully) summery months to come as it's lighter and sO pretty. Little bit pricey but hopefully the hype around this product lives up to expectations!

Too Faced | Born This Way Foundation - £29
I've already been through a bottle of this foundation and I absolutely love it. Even though my skin is oily, this foundation is the bomb. It's lightweight, provides good coverage and with the right setting powder and primer, can stay on your skin for quite a while.

Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot | Painterly - £16
Honestly, I don't know what I would do without this product. It's my saving grace when it comes to eyeshadow primers. I could walk through a storm and my eyeshadow would look amazing. Honestly the best investment, I've already gone through one of these.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick | Long Legged & Fabulous and Sunny Seoul - £15.50
As if I needed two more lipsticks. This was justified by Long Legged & Fabulous being a limited edition shade and Sunny Seoul is such a summery colour (even though it is basically winter right now - please England sort yourself out). Yano I needed them both obviously.
