The most photogenic highlighter ever | Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer in shade 002

If you follow me on Instagram (@amelia.lottie) then you'll have seen this beaut all over my grid. I think the reason I wanted to write about this product is because even though the packaging and embossing is so beautiful, the product itself is also a dream. This post is also a bit of a rest in peace moment because I've now used this so much you can barely see the 'NUDE' embossing and I am sad (yes, you can send me your condolences in this very difficult time).

The packaging is high end to the max, there's so much of it. You know I love being extra and the box this beauty comes in is massive. It also comes with a little kabuki brush with the same silver packaging and embossing on the handle. There is also, wait for it, a pouch to put the compact in - so extra. It's probably good if you're travelling but I like to keep pretty packaged products in my see-through Muji draws to get my money's worth - haha.

The product itself is just so beautiful, aside from the prettiest embossing in existence, the compact itself is silver and elegant. As for the product, this highlighter is almost lightweight? It's very airy and doesn't feel heavy on the skin so you can tell it's high quality. The colour is a gorgeous light champagne pink shade that I can't get enough of and almost looks natural on the skin. Obviously it's a highlighter so it's never going to look that natural but it creates a pretty dewy glow that isn't heavy and I'm so obsessed with it.

I've never been so impressed by a highlighter - I definitely think it's worth the money. So, sorry not sorry for all the photos - I never knew a highlighter could be so photogenic but damn this one knows how to work the camera. Please don't be deterred by the price as in this case price equals quality. You can buy other beautiful shades but this one is 002 and it's love.

Til next time xx

Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Highlighter

Ever since the Jaclyn Hill and Becca Cosmetics collaboration launched everyone has been obsessed with Champagne Pop and for a good reason - it's actually stunning!

Having looked at the product I thought it looked really really gold. As my skin is quite fair I didn't think it would suit me. I happened to be strolling through Space NK the other day (a.k.a. one of the only places you can purchase Becca products in store in the UK) and I knew that this store didn't have a Becca counter. Upon buying a new setting powder (Laura Mercier setting powder for the win by the way guys) they had Becca products at the front *dies of excitement*.

It looks so gold in the pan and online but when you swatch it on your skin it's a lot peachier than you might think. So obviously I had to buy it. I'm such an impulse buyer, I swear I shouldn't be allowed in stores. I'm not even joking this is hands down, probably the nicest highlighter ever. I love the Becca highlighters anyway, they're so pigmented and don't have a lot of heavy glitter particles within the formula. I already have Pearl (review here) for my paler days but Champagne Pop is just something else.

The only thing about highlighters is you can go a bit over the top (nah just kidding that's not a thing). My only beef with this is if you have any spots in your highlighting sections they are exaggerated with this product, but this is quite common with all highlighters. The shade is a beautiful peachy light gold shade and can be worn for so many different skin tones. I am obsessed to say the least. It just gives such a beautiful summery glow. Obviously I did want the new palette that just came out but as long as I have Champagne Pop by my side I'ma be just fine.

Yano guys, when I was bringing this home I dropped my Space NK bag, almost cried/had a breakdown, but the highlighting gods have my back and it was absolutely fine - phew! It's safe to say I will not be bringing this with me anywhere so I don't break it as this would literally be heartbreaking. This retails for £32 and these highlighters, no matter the shade, are completely worth it. I've heard amazing things about the Becca blushers as well so I'll be keeping an eye out for those!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed | Pearl

Yes, hello, hi, it's been so long since I last wrote a post.

Thought I'd start my return to blogging with this super majestic highlighter by Becca Cosmetics. I bought the shade Pearl because it's the lightest (literally white sparkles) and my skin is quite fair.

The packaging looks like a cute little flying saucer that's come to grace your cheeks with stardust. Obviously it's really easy to get carried away and put this all over your face and body. What I love about this product is you can build up the glow: a subtle highlight for the day and more of a signalling aliens via highlight glow for the evening.

I would say that make sure you pick up the right shade for your skin tone. This colour can look a little bit ridiculous on me if i've fake tanned and wear a darker foundation. The pigmentation is incredible - in the swatch photo I only had to dip my finger in once and it's not too glittery. Now i'm lusting after the famous Champagne Pop and Moonstone which look equally majestic. I feel like every woman needs one of these babies in their makeup collection.

This retails for £32 and I believe you can buy it from Space NK and Cult Beauty!
